1. Periodontal Diagnosis & Classification
Learn how to accurately diagnose periodontal diseases and conditions using the 2018 World Workshop Classification. Build a solid foundation for treatment planning by understanding periodontitis staging and grading correctly.
2. Understanding Defects & Prognosis
Think like an expert. Learn to identify suprabony and infrabony defects, recognize local and systemic risk factors, and understand how patient-tooth and site-specific variables influence prognosis and treatment outcomes.
3. Occlusion, Mobility & Splinting
Understand the role of occlusion in periodontal stability. Learn how to recognize signs of occlusal trauma, assess tooth mobility, and identify situations where splinting may improve patient comfort and function. 4. Minimally Invasive Non-Surgical Therapy
Master a modern, evidence-based approach to non-surgical periodontal treatment. Dr. Andrea Ravidà, DDS MS PhD
Dr. Andrea Ravidà is Program Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. His clinical and research work focuses on periodontitis, peri-implant diseases, periodontal regeneration, and evidence-based treatment strategies aimed at preserving teeth and implants.
With more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and extensive clinical and surgical experience, he combines scientific evidence with practical protocols that can be immediately applied in daily practice.
